An early start to budburst which suggested the season which was to come. Great start to spring with strong shoot growth after a wet winter. A significant frost in late October caused damage in many blocks, although the Malbec site escaped the majority of the damage. Flowering was impacted by some cooler weather in early November. A dry and hot summer led to a very early season, one of the earliest we have ever seen with all white varietals harvested in February almost a month earlier than average.
