Block 1 Riesling is a unique wine with a rich history, it showcases site expression, old vines and detailed farming. This parcel of fruit first gain national recognition when the wine produced from the 1975 vintage won 12 Gold medals on the national wine show circuit. Since the first named release in 2005, Block 1 has further achieved and solidified an immense reputation, receiving 95 points or higher in all years released and for several years awarded equal top pointed Riesling in Australia.

This is the last of our 2022 Block 1 Riesling we have. Another brilliant review with Wine Advocate's Erin Larkin pointing the wine 96+:
"a superb powerhouse of flavor in the mouth. The wine is rich and toasty, full throttle in every regard, and holds back for no one. There's pickled lime, buttered toast, mustard seed, lemongrass, torched yuzu and sea salt. It is statuesque and robust. The acidity, once the wine has gone, leaves me with a mouth full of energy."
